Gavin Rossdale doesn’t have fond memories of his marriage.
The 54-year-old singer was married to Gwen Stefani from 2002 until she separated in 2015 and completed her divorce the following year. They share three children: Kingston (14), Zuma (11) and Apollo (6).
In a recent interview with The Guardian, the Bush frontman spoke about his life and career before the band’s forthcoming release.

In a Q&A, the musician was asked what his “most embarrassing moment” was.
“The crude and one-sided specter of my marriage’s decay,” he said.
Rossdale also revealed some other details about himself in the interview, including the trait that he least likes.

“My ability to take someone out and take them off without realizing it almost as a defense mechanism,” he said.
The singer could also look back on some happy times and remember having spent time with his children, including Daisy Lowe, whom he shares with the singer and designer Pearl Lowe.
“Last year when I had all four children – Daisy, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo – with me on my birthday,” said Rossdale when he was “happiest”. “It was magical.”
While his past, including his marriage, may not have been so perfect, Rossdale said he is trying to learn lessons from the past.
“… Life is just a series of chapters and it is important to try not to move older chapters into new chapters,” he said.
