The upcoming statement by former Special Envoy Robert Mueller on Capitol Hill offers the Republicans the "golden opportunity" to hold him accountable, "Hannity" host Sean Hannity said in his opening monologue on Friday.
"Democrats? They're hoping to turn this testimony into a spectacle – for Nadler, for the cowardly ship," Hannity said, referring to New York's Jerrold Nadler and Adam Schiff from California, the Democrats who chair the House's Judiciary and Intelligence Committees. Mueller will appear in front of both panels later this month.
"Another excuse for trying to spot Trump, but for Republicans this hearing is a golden opportunity," Hannity added. "To ask the questions that need to be asked to Robert Mueller to hold him accountable."
TREY GOWDY: MÜLLER DOES NOT WANT TO TAKE PART IN THE LIFE OF RUSSIA'S HISTORY
Demanded Hannity's answers from Mueller on the grounds that America deserves to know why he made some of the decisions he made during that time the almost two-year Russia investigation.
"We, you, we Americans, deserve answers to all the pressing questions that have been asked in this regard. Our government has completely ignored that and the media pack is being ignored," Hannity said. "Mueller has to answer why he hired a team of Democratic donors, there is not a single Republican available, why would he hire Hillary Clinton's former lawyer in this case, why did he hire this guy, Andrew Weissman?"
Hannity asked if Mueller was "proud" of his work and what she had done to the country.
"At the end of the day, Robert Mueller is really proud of his 22-month witch hunt, which really did nothing more than what to fuel unbridled conspiracy theories, lies, propaganda, misinformation?" Hannity asked.

Hannity added that "the boomerang of justice" was returning against those who spoke out against President Trump.
"No president in this country should ever again face this kind of flawed party-political, counterfeit conspiracy," he said. "It should not happen, and luckily, the boomerang of justice is in full swing tonight."
