However, if the knife does not lock as expected, the risk increases.  On Friday, Harbor Freight Tools recalled more than a million Gordon folding knives for safety reasons.
"The locking mechanism can not snap into place when deploying the blade and pose a risk of injury," the company said in the recall notification filed with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. According to the recall notice, there were seven reports according to which The knife did not click into place, resulting in six cuts. Four of the injuries required medical attention, the company said.
Anyone working with the knife should discontinue use and return it to a Harbor Freight Tools store for a $ 5 gift certificate plus sales tax.
