The family of murdered British backpacker Grace Millane paid tribute to the "beautiful" 22-year-old, revealing that she had a passion for the world and had even planned a trip to the Far East.

Ms. Millane's body was found by the police on the outskirts of Auckland after missing her in the city on December 1, one day before her 22nd birthday.

Now, her family has revealed how they have endured two weeks of hell & # 039; since their disappearance and how grateful they are for support from around the world.

A 26-year-old New Zealander was charged with murdering Ms. Millane – New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was asked to apologize to her family on behalf of her country.

Michael added: "We're all flying the nest. Her death should not prevent a man or a woman from following her dreams.

He also thanked the thousands of people from all over the world for sending messages of support to the family.

The family was also grateful for the apology of Prime Minister Ardern.

When she spoke of Ms. Millane's journey, her family said that she started the journey with five weeks in Peru and a hike to Machu Picchu.

The local chocolate factories were also enthusiastic about Mrs. Millane.

She intended to make another trip to the Far East.

The Millane family added that they hope to find some causes in time that are close to Grace's heart so that her name will be remembered.
