The Bruins are reported to be in John Tavares' shortlist of possible free-agent targets, and one of the B leaders is trying to direct the Star Center to Boston.
During his courtship in the open market, Tavares received a call from Patrice Bergeron. During a Friday performance at TVA Sports in Canada, the deputy captain of the Bruins revealed how he raised Tavares on joining the Black and Gold.

Tavares would be a great addition to the Bruins, of course. Boston is expected to be one of the top teams in the NHL in the coming season, and Tavares would further strengthen the B case as a legitimate Stanley Cup player.
With the official opening of the NHL agency on July 1, we must wait and see if Bergeron's recruitment efforts pay off.
