The brand replaces its recognizable logo and etches 25 popular emojis into the rectangles that make up the milk chocolate. Hershey's contains a smiley face, the fist-pound, the ghost-emoji and others.
The redesign filled with emoji marks the first time that Hershey & # 39; s has changed its design for milk chocolate bars since its first sale in 1900.
But, sad face, it's not a permanent change. The new bars will be available for sale for a limited time this summer. The company announced that it will produce only about 25 million standard-size and snack-size emoji bars.
Each of the emojis was chosen to have "meanings that would help spark a conversation".
They are sold in standard size and snack size and will be available in six different packs.
Hershey has made very few additions to his namesake range in the past.
Previously, Hershey's 1995 sold a biscuit and cream variety. Hershey's Special Dark debuted in 1939.
