Hillary Clinton claimed in a podcast interview this week the Russians would support Democratic member Tulsi Gabbard as presidential candidate – calling Jill Stein "a Russian advantage".
Clinton made the remark on Campaign HQ with David Plouffe . "I do not make any predictions, but I think they're keeping an eye out for someone who's currently in Democratic primary and is training them as a third-party candidate. She's the Russians' favorite," Clinton said, apparently referring to Rep. Gabbard, who was accused of receiving support from Russian bots and the Russian news media. "So far there are a number of websites and bots and other ways to support them." She added: Yes, she's a Russian asset ̵
In Augu Gabbard frankly promised CNN that she would not run as a third-party candidate if she did not win the Democratic nomination. During the podcast, Clinton repeatedly stabbed President Trump and called him "Vladimir Putin's Dream." Gabbard's campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
