WASHINGTON – Braden Holtby scored 32 parades for the Washington Capitals in a 4-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round of the Eastern Conference at Capital One Arena on Sunday.

Washington, who had led 2-0 in the first half, scored the first two-goal playoff games at the eighth Stanley Cup for the fifth time, including a 3-2 loss to the penguins in the game 1 on Thursday.

The Penguins appeared to come 3-2 at 9:03 of the third period when Hornqvist put Holtby under Holtby. However, it was not a target on the ice and the call was for a review.

Penguins defensorman Brian Dumoulin left the game at 4:23 of the second period after a collision with Alex Ovechkin and Tom Wilson .The game was not punished and Dumoulin (Torso) did not return. Ovechkin scored his 53rd playoff goal and moved up to 47th place on the NHL's all-time list (Bill Barber, Daniel Briere, Stephane Richer, Jeremy Roenick).
