A hot air balloon pilot was reportedly killed in an accident at an Ohio balloon festival.
The disaster occurred on Friday night, shortly after the hot air balloon landed in a field, reported the Ashland Source  The victim was 74 years old and attended the 28th annual Ashland Balloon Festival in Ashland.
"When disassembling the balloon, the pilot hit his head on the burner and suffered a fatal injury," said Ashland Balloonfest's Mindi Cantrell in a press release, the newspaper reported.
The pilot did not respond and sustained a traumatic cardiac arrest when he was taken to hospital, Ashland's captain, Captain Ken Gardner, told the newspaper
The scene reported that the victim was teaching another man to use the balloon fly, the newspaper reported.
A balloon flight scheduled on Saturday morning was canceled.
