Fallout 76 Bethesda's online multiplayer development of Fallout 4 extends its beta version. The previously limited Fallout 76 beta was exclusive to pre-orders on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, but that changed today when Bethesda opened the beta for friends of current beta entrants. Each current Fallout 76 beta player should have received three friend codes, which he was free to share, so he could put together his own crew of Vault 76 fugitives to explore the world together.
It's as easy as possible for those who want to use the new friend codes. Go to Bethesda.net and log in. Then click on your account name in the upper right corner and select "Transaction history". If you have successfully registered your beta code before today, then in addition to your own beta registration, you will also be registered with three new beta friend codes for the same platform. Just click on "Details" next to the friend code of your choice, copy the provided code and send it to your friend.
Once you have received the code, players can redeem it either through Bethesda.net or the Bethesda Launcher for PC Microsoft Store for Xbox or PlayStation Store for PS4. Be sure to redeem the code on the correct platform as the codes are exclusive to the platform and tied to the platform of the original beta subscriber. After redeeming a code you only need to download Fallout 76 (about 45 GB on console and 50 GB on PC).
The Beta of Fallout 76 is unique in that it is available only occasionally every few days for a few hours. This weekend is a rare opportunity, with the beta opening on all platforms on Saturdays and Sundays – perhaps the last time the beta is launched. It's a great opportunity to try the game as long as everyone has a friend with useful friend codes.
Here is the current Fallout 76 beta schedule, so anyone can plan their weekend accordingly:
- . 3 November: 14:00 PT – 18:00 PT
- 4. November: 11:00 am PST – 6:00 pm PST
Note that Daylight Saving Time occurs on Sunday morning and clocks are reset one hour in the majority of the United States.
The beta version provides access to the full Fallout 76 game that players can explore. This is not just a demo or a limited section of the game, so all the impressions from the beta version are actually impressions of the whole game. In addition, the entire progress from the beta-out of Fallout 76 is to be taken over in the full launch of Fallout 76 which also applies to the persons invited via Friend Code.
Fallout 76 will be released on November 14 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
