Dungeon Master! Does your adventure party have someone looking for secret doors in every room they enter ? Do we have the wandering monster for you? Sic the Goose of Untitled Goose Game on 'em! Courtesy of a Dungeons & Dragons Subreddit, this is an NPC character sheet for "The Unnamed Goose." … Those who claim to have witnessed the creature themselves claim they have nothing but hatred in their eyes. Otaku-sama on Reddit
Redditor Otaku-sama of course took the nameless goose as the "subject of a wild geese chase" and gave it frightening qualities and attributes. My favorite is the honk attack, where all creatures within 30 yards must make a saving throw against wisdom.
Goose is also evasive, which means that a throw that saves skill to take half damage now means that the goose can take no more than half damage and no damage when playing dice. Goose is immune to mental damage and speaks Infernal and Abyssal.
The nameless goose comes from Unearthed Arcana, a subreddit for homebrews by Dungeons & Dragons of the fifth edition. There is a slight controversy about the chaotic neutral orientation of the goose, with Otaku-sama arguing that "it is simply an agent of chaos, not a malevolent force."
Otaku-sama says the nameless goose also works as an "incredibly annoying support NPC for a harm-causing friend". What is the opposite of support? So the goose works even better!
