How to Defeat Shiny Entei in Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go has unleashed the shiny shape of Entei and today is the perfect day to grab one. Pokemon Go hosts an Entei raid day from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm local time to celebrate the completion of last week's global challenge. During the mini event, players will find Entei Raids in every gym. If they are lucky, they may even encounter the shiny form of Entei after defeating them. Shiny Pokemon are variant versions of Entei and are appreciated by many players for their rarity. Today is the first day players may encounter and catch the shiny shape of Entei, which has a brown color scheme instead of the usual dark red.

Entei is one of the strongest fire Pokemons in Pokemon Go . This is a great opportunity today to breed Entei candies or add the Pokemon to your collection. As a pure fire-type Pokémon, Entei is weak against Pokémon of the Water, Stone, and Soil types. The best counter against Entei is the legendary Pokémon Kyogre, which is both bulky and accessible to the strongest movements of the water type in the game. Other top tier options are Feraligatr (with hydraulic pump), Palkia (with hydraulic pump) or Rampardos with all rock type movements.

Other solid options are Gyarados with movements of the type water, Tyranitar with movements of the type Stein, Rhyperior and Garchomp. Players can also fill their team with more common water-type Pokémon, such as Vaporeon, Omastar, Swampert and Blastoise, or with Pokémon, such as Alolan Golem and Salamence.

As with all raids, the key to defeating Entei is picking Pokemon with the right moves and finding a big raid group. Entei can easily be defeated by groups of five or more experienced coaches. Due to today's celebrations, it should not be too difficult to find a robbery party, especially if there is an area with a high concentration of gyms.

The Entei Raid Day takes place between 1

6 and 19 o'clock.
