A fleeing illegal immigrant was murdered in Texas after being escaped 23 years ago to avoid being arrested for impregnating his 12-year-old daughter.
Heraclio Gamez-Nava, 64, was taken into custody by Porter Thursday after showing the authorities a copy of a Nevada arrest warrant of 1995, which incriminated him with ongoing sexual assault by a minor under the age of 14. He started after the arrest warrant.
"At that time, they fled Nevada and have been fleeing since," according to a Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables office.
MPs said Gamez-Nava was a Mexican national living illegally in the country.
