A Lan Dershowitz criticized Nancy Pelosi's spokeswoman for allegedly saying she wanted to see President Trump in prison.
"As a Liberal Democrat, I'm appalled by Nancy Pelosi," said Dershowitz, a civil liberties lawyer and former Harvard law professor, on Fox News Thursday. "The idea that she makes the criminal justice system a weapon and demands the imprisonment of the President of the United States without being charged with a crime without being charged with a criminal offense is simply outrageous."
"It sounds like the conversation between Stalin and Beria, in which Beria said to Stalin," Show me the man and I'll find the crime, "said Dershowitz.
" The idea of the most important Democrats in the United States , which demands the imprisonment of a president, is such a violation of civil liberties, the rule of law and American justice. It should be absolutely ashamed, "he said.
Dershowitz's statements, according to Californian Democrats, say she wanted Trump to be jailed on Tuesday at a meeting of leading Democratic legislators.
" Me I do not want to see him charged, I want to see him in jail. "Pelosi said Pelosi said she preferred to see Trump defeated at the ballot box.
Trump responded to her comments Thursday and nicknamed her" Nervous Nancy ".
"I think she's a shame," Trump said Thursday, "Actually, I do not think she's a talented person. I tried to be nice to her because I would like to do some business. She is unable to do business. She is a wicked, vindictive, terrible person. "
