Seven people, including two children, reportedly died in the air in a clash between a helicopter and a small plane on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
The two ships crashed over the city of Inca on Sundays On the popular tourist island, five of the victims – including the children – were killed in the helicopter and the other two on the plane, according to the BBC.
The authorities said that the passengers are locals but have not officially identified any victims or the nationality of the other five killed.
At least one of the helicopter victims was an Italian, according to the Spanish news agency Europa Press
The Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez called it a tragic accident on Sunday and offered the families of the victims "sol idleness and sympathy.
