Cameron Ely was once a popular and talented Harvard quarterback, loved by his father – the Tarzan actor Ron Ely – for his intelligence. On Wednesday night, the 30-year-old was shot in a film shootout with the Santa Barbara Police – after apparently killing his mother and then trying to impose the crime on his frail 81-year-old father.
The sheriff department of Santa Barbara has not posted a motive for the gruesome attack over Valerie Lundeen, 62, but said Cameron poses a threat to MPs, who then place him on the $ 4.8 million family home shot in the exclusive area of Hope Ranch.

It's a far cry from earlier reports of Cameron's life.

Cameron later attended New Hampshire's Elite Phillips Exeter Academy, which has been consistently recognized as one of the finest boarding schools in America, with tuition fees of $ 49,000 a year before leaving for Harvard.
The school praised its talent in an article in Harvard Crimson in 2007 – in which he praised his GPA on 4, "Highest Intelligence" and "Ability to Make Good Decisions" A good spokesperson told People on Thursday.
