Dhoni fans have a field day on Twitter after CSK lost to SRH in his absence

Chennai Super Kings is hard to imagine without her skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. After Dhoni had played for the men in yellow in 121 consecutive games, Dhoni missed out on competition for the first time since March 23, 2010, when CSK took on SunRisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old got rest after a back spurt, and Suresh Raina was voted Stand-In captain.

CSK was the first to open with Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis opening 79. Beating tragedy and 29 balls, 22 runs, 5 wickets later, CSK stayed at 101 for 5 in 14.4 overs. Ambati Rayudu and Ravindra Jadeja tried to save the sinking ship but were able to increase the CSK score to only 1

32 for 5.

The intentions of SRH were clear and the opening players David Warner (50 of 25) and Jonny Bairstow (61 * of 44) did the task for their team again. They defeated the Dhoni-loose CSK with 6 wickets and 19 balls.
This was the only second loss of CSK in the current season of IPL.

Missing their Paramount presence, disappointed CSK fans without Dhoni.
