During a similar point before its release, the Star Wars revival earned 33% of the vote, compared to Infinity War is 45%.
Interest in the unprecedented filming event is due to the roof: in March, the Avengers drequel displaced Black Panther 's presales record in just six hours, making it the best-selling superhero movie of the retailer Fandango in ticket sales.
Infinity War was able to break The Force Awaken's weekend record of $ 247.97 million, but a new report from the Wall Street Journal suggests the Marvel Studios blockbuster could not break the opening worldwide box-office record for a later release in China, where the film will be released on May 11th.
Upcoming projections, released earlier this month, gave Infinity War a Conservative Domestic Opening in the range of $ 175- $ 200 Million, Crossing the Epic at Eye Level The Avengers ($ 207.4 million), Black Panther ($ 202m), Avenger: Age of Ultron ($ 191.3m) and Captain America: Civil War ( $ 179.1 million).
These projections left room for scope as the world debuted closer to Infinity War probably in the top ranks of the world's highest-grossing films worldwide.
