Fat burners are popular among those who are looking to lose some weight. But, the supplement industry evolves quickly and new supplements are coming out every day with new ingredients promising to be the best.
With all these products flooding the market, it can be hard to choose one that works. It’s especially hard when there are products that have been on the market for years that contain classic ingredients that users swear by.

These types of results have been replicated a multitude of times and show a trend of more fat loss when caffeine is consumed.

Green tea extract contains two compounds that are useful for fat loss. One is caffeine, which was previously discussed. The other is EGCG a naturally occurring compound that boosts fat loss.
Green tea extract is only found effective when a user isn’t currently using caffeine regularly. It works better when it is introduced after time off from all caffeine sources.
This meta-analysis shows that simply drinking one cup of green tea can oxidize a little over 5g of fat. While this doesn’t sound like much, a cup of green tea contains much less EGCG than a supplement with a standardized extract.
Capsaicin is the compound found in peppers that makes them spicy. The spicier the pepper, the more capsaicin it contains. Luckily, you don’t need to singe your tastebuds all day to lose fat.
Capsaicin is proven just as effective when used in powder form, contains in capsules.
It boosts thermogenic activity in your body, including fat cells. This helps to burn more calories throughout the day, improving efforts of a calorie deficit diet.
This compound has shown promise in an animal study to be a potent anti-obesity agent, not allowing triglycerides to be converted to body fat cells. This coupled with its thermogenic effect makes it a great compound to ass to any fat loss stack.
