Last month, we reported that an iPhone SE successor could be released in early 2020. Now, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo joins in this sweet forecasting move for the iPhone SE, and his recent Chinese-language report suggests this. The same goes for 9to5Google.
In addition to a second generation mini-Apple mobile phone, Kuo had to make some more predictions for 2020, predicting the arrival of a new iPad Pro and Apple's long-established AR headset forever.
The design and hardware specifications of the iPhone SE 2 are expected to look similar to the 2017 iPhone 8 with the updated A13 Bionic chipset, found on the iPhone 11 instead of the A11 Bionic. Appears sometime in the first quarter of 2020.
Kuo expects the new iPad Pro to be equipped with a back-to-back 3D ToF (time-of-flight) camera sensor in the first quarter of next year for greater accuracy in the field of photography and (presumably) for the use with Augmented Reality.
Kuo also expects the hotly awaited Apple AR glasses to finally be launched next year, with the analyst forecasting a release in the second quarter of 2020. One month after Apple's AR headset appears to be in iOS 1
