A man claims to have had a ten-month affair with Colorado's father accused of killing his pregnant wife and two young daughters
The anonymous man from Loveland, Colorado, claimed Tuesday that He met Chris Watts, 33, on an app called "MeetMe" and the couple started a sexual relationship when they first met in person in June 2017.
"It was clear he was interested in me and dressing me" the man said on HLN's "Crime & Justice" show . But Watts allegedly told him he was "not out and unwilling to be out there as far as his sexuality is concerned."
"I had asked him if he was sure he was not bisexual because he obviously had two children I did not know, and in that moment he was attracted to me and me as a man."
The Mann said Watts never told him he was married ̵
"Bella did a comment and asked him if she could sleep with him and his mom tonight and that was when I found out, "he said.
But Watts is said to have assured him that he and his wife, Shanann Watts, 34, were not happy at home and did not sleep together anymore.
"He told me that his wife was verbally and emotionally offensive, that he did not love her and that it was clear she did not love him."
He added, "I knew something at home not true, because obviously, if no, something was wrong, he would not have haunted me. "
Finally, the man said he had broken it off when Watts kept telling him lies. He said he felt "sick" when he found out that Watts was arrested this month in the murders of his wife and two daughters.
According to court documents, Watts had an affair with a co-worker. The anonymous man said that he imagined that the employee could either be a man or a woman.
Friends of Shanann Watts also claimed that she had told them she suspected that her husband had an affair.
The mother was 15 weeks pregnant when she was found dead on August 16 with her two girls.
HLL's host, Ashleigh Banfield, said the show asked the man to speak out, but that he could not confirm his story independently.
