Nissan and Italdesign have teamed up to develop a new, very cool prototype vehicle called the Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign. Nissan notes that this is the first collaboration between the company and the design company. The special car is based on the Nissan GT-R NISMO model from 2018 and will make its official debut next month.
The special prototype car celebrates 50 years of GT-R and 50 years of Italdesign "Shaping the automobile world." Italdesign has designed, constructed and built the car. It has a striking interior with a shiny gold and black-tone facade. The hood has a more pronounced power bulge with thin LED headlights.
The roofline has been lowered by 54 mm and has a lower middle part and raised outer parts. The gold deposit runs from the bottom of the doors to the shoulder line of the car. Other gold touches are added to the boot lid area of the car.
The round rear taillights are a separate floating element. The rear wing is larger and with two posts adjustable to complete the appearance of the vehicle. The wheels are 21
It has carbon fiber surfaces on the center console, fascia and door panels. The steering wheel is custom-made and plenty of Alcantara is used for the seats and other surfaces along with gold accents in the car. The engine has an estimated 720 hp and 780 Nm of torque and is hand-assembled and heavily modified.
