Libya, 277 cases in 24 hours
Libya still has cases of 277 new coronavirus infections recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 7,237. This was announced by the Libyan National Center for Disease Control on its official Facebook page. It was stated that the number of deaths will rise to 139, the number of people cured to 848 and the number of currently positive people from 6,099 to 6,340, with the distribution of the cases currently taking place in all regions of the country. The Ministry of Health of the Libyan Government of the National Agreement (GNA) has announced that air and sea bridges are planned with France, Belgium and Turkey to ensure the arrival of medical supplies via airplanes and merchant ships. The situation in medical institutions is particularly difficult. The Tripoli government has ordered a full lockdown for the weekend and a partial lockdown the other days of the week, along with a range of different sanctions for those who fail to comply with the rules.
