A 27-year-old Greek was arrested for murdering an American scientist killed in Crete . Biologist 59-year-old Suzanne Eaton, who worked for the German Max Planck Institute in Dresden, was on the Greek island to attend a conference: her body was found in a WWII bunker July 8, six days after his death, reported by friends on July 2. The young man, a local farmer, would have confessed: he hit her first and then stabbed her while the scientist had gone out for a run. It would be a sexual assault. The farmer lives in Kissamos and has two children.
