Jada Pinkett Smith's Facebook Watch Talk Show Red Table Talk received rave reviews over and over again for his open and honest dealings with everyday issues. In the episode of Monday (May 28), the actress and Gabrielle Union crushed their 17-year-old beef like adult women. According to Smith, their relationship (or lack of it) with Union was "a bit meek."
"Gabrielle and I were never really friends, we were great partners who were dissolved at some point and we did not really speak for 17 years," said Pinkett Smith. "We do not even know [what we’re mad at]." Today I really want to talk to Gabrielle to find out how we specifically come here as women and this particular episode is about healing. "
Union said she enjoyed it, ripping other women during their "rock-bottom" phase after their first marriage ended. However, her coach / life coach AJ Johnson clarified:
"I'm a hater, I'm a troll," Union said. "[Johnson] was like, all those negative things that happened in your life, it's just what you radiate, you come back, I had to see myself clearly, it's ugly, it's hard, it's painfully too Realize that you are the common denominator for the great majority of your problems. "
The duo said that their discussion for the show was helpful to the growth and recovery of their own time. Smith explained that the conversation with her actor colleague "hopped from my back like a gorilla that I did not know was there."
"I needed that, I needed you, so, thanks," she smiled. Ultimately, Smith gifted Union with a key chain that, she says, is a reminder that "[she] is the key to [her] power."
