The No. 11 seeded Loyola-Chicago Ramblers made their first Final Four in 55 years when they defeated the 9th Kansas state to defend the Region South on Saturday to win.
The incredible run of the Ramblers is due to their disciplined offensive approach and a series of coupe shots by Clayton Custer, Ben Richardson and Marques Townes. And do not forget Sister Jean, the team's 98-year-old chaplain who was a lucky charm during the trip from Loyola-Chicago.
Sister Jean would probably have met her match in the form of Jalen Rose's 100-year-old grandmother Mary Belle Hicks.
Hicks sent a message to Sister Jean in front of Loyola-Chicago's # 3 Final Four-Tilt in Michigan, where her grandson played, and let the chaplain know that the dream run ends on Saturday.
She filmed the trash talk and sent it on Roses Instagram account. You can watch the video here.
"Sister Jean, it was a good ride, but it's about Saturday. Go Blue!" Said Hicks.
Nothing like a bit of trash talk to start Final Four Week.
We doubt that Sister Jean will answer, but she upset Charles Barkley over the weekend, so anything is possible.
Michigan and Loyola-Chicago issue a notice at 18:07. ET on Saturday.
