LeBron James posted double digits in the 867th consecutive game, breaking the record he shared with Michael Jordan, and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the New Orleans Hornets 107-102 on Friday night to keep up the table.  James finished another outstanding performance in his MVP-worthy 15th NBA season with 27 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds. He eventually took away the Pelicans by making eight straight in the waning moments of the fourth quarter.
Jordan Clarkson added 23 points and Tristan Thompson had 14 rebounds in 21 minutes for the Cavs, who have won seven out of eight. A loss would have dropped the three-time Eastern Conference titleholder from third to fifth and only a handful of games in the regular season.

HOUSTON (AP) – Gerald Green made a 3-pointer on the buzzer and Houston rallied from a 21-point, second-half deficit to beat Phoenix.
The win was Houston's 11th straight and extends Phoenix Skid to 14 games.
Houston rested Chris Paul, Eric Gordon and Nene after clinching first place in the Western Conference on Thursday with the defeat of Golden State against Milwaukee. The Rockets playing played early against the team with the NBA's worst record, and Houston drew back by 17 at half-time.
James Harden had 28 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. PJ Tucker added 18 points and made a career-high five 3-pointer.
Josh Jackson scored 27 points for the suns that have not won since February 28, and Troy Daniels added 23.

ATLANTA (AP) – Ben Simmons had a threefold double in three quarters, Ersan Ilyasova scored 21 points and Philadelphia won his ninth consecutive game.
With 13 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, Simmons has five triple doubles in his last 10 games and 11 total. The rookie of the year contestant did not play after he had gone 3:37 in the third round, and gave Philadelphia the kind of performance he needed after All-Star Center Joel Embiid had an orbital eye-break and a concussion suffered.
Philadelphia jumped twice in the second quarter to a lead of 11 points. The Hawks moved within three minutes of the first minute of the third, but the Sixers soon put the game away with a 39-15 run that put it 86-59 in the fourth.
Damion Lee finished with a career high 20 points and Taurean Prince and Isaiah Taylor each added 12 for Atlanta, the NBA's second-closest team.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Paul Millsap scored a season-high 36 points to help Denver
Nikola Jokic had 23 points and 16 rebounds, and Will Barton added 18 Added points for the Nuggets who lost two and desperately needed victory for the Western Conference Playoff Race. Denver entered two games from spot # 8 during the night.
Russell Westbrook had 33 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds, but he missed what would have been a game-winning 3-pointer at the end of the regulation. Carmelo Anthony scored 23 points and Jerami Grant 16 for the Thunder, who lost four out of five. These losses totaled nine points, and none more than four.
TRAIL BLAZERS 105, CLIPPERS 96
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Jusuf Nurkic had 21 points and 12 rebounds, new father Damian Lillard added 17 points and 11 assists, and Portland stopped Los Angeles. Novice Zach Collins came off the bench with a career-high 15 points for the Blazers injured in the third quarter when Ed Davis rolled his right ankle and left the game.
The loss broke a three-game winning streak for the Clippers, who were just outside the playoff image to the west with six games remaining. Lou Williams led Los Angeles with 23 points
BUCKS 124, LAKERS 122, OT
LOS ANGELES (AP) – Eric Bledsoe scored 11 of his 39 points in overtime, and Milwaukee overcame a big comeback from Los Angeles. 19659002] Khris Middleton added 28 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 27 points for the Bucks, who won their third consecutive game and the second in two nights. They beat the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.
Bledsoe scored nine points in a row to start the overtime and give the Bucks a 121-112 lead of 2:35.
Kyle Kuzma had 27 points for the Lakers, which will end with a losing record in the season. Brook Lopez added 20 points, while Julius Randle had 18 points and 10 rebounds.
TIMBERWOLVES 93, MAVERICKS 92
DALLAS (AP) – Karl-Anthony Towns scored 21 points and 20 rebounds, Jamal Crawford scored 24 points and Minnesota The Dallas team had a foothold in the close Western Conference playoff race.
After the Wolves scored only 34 percent in the first half and until the middle of the third quarter, they turned to Crawford, who scored 15 points after halftime  He hit three consecutive shots, including a 3 over a 1: 14 fourth-quarter range to give Minnesota a 74-68 lead. Nemanja Bjelica, scoreless in the first three quarters, hit two threes to extend to 85-73.
Harrison Barnes led Dallas with 19 points, and Dennis Smith Jr. had 17.
JAZZ 107, GRIZZLIES 97  SALT LAKE CITY (AP) – Donovan Mitchell scored 22 points and Dante Exum had a season high of 21, to run Utah against Memphis.
Exum played strong defense and was just short of his career when he shot 8 of 10 in the absence of Ricky Rubio.
Joe Ingles, who played the point, had 17 points and 10 rebounds. Royce O'Neale added 13 points for the jazz jockeying for the Western Conference playoff position.
Marc Gasol missed just one shot – a long 3-pointer – with 28 points, but did not play in the fourth quarter when the Grizzlies needed him the most.
BULLS 90, MAGIC 82
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) – rookie Lauri Markkanen and Sean Kilpatrick each scored 13 points, rookie Ryan Arcidiacono had all of his eight points in the fourth quarter, and Chicago recorded a loss series of seven games.
Arcidiacono's 3-pointer launched a 14-0 run in the fourth quarter for the Bulls, who took a lead of 80-71 and held to complete a magic four-game season sweep.
Aaron Gordon scored 18 points for Orlando, who scored almost six minutes in the fourth quarter and scored 33 percent for the game. Nikola Vučević had 12 points and 14 rebounds for the Magic (22-53).
