Jayme Closs: Investigators Receive 1,000 Tips for Missing Teenagers

Investigators said they had received over 1000 tips in the case of the missing 13-year-old Jayme Coss . The Wisconsin teenager has not been seen since her parents were found shot dead in her home.

More than 800 of the tips received have been investigated, Baron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said on Saturday

"We use every resource available, and have conducted hundreds of interviews, multiple searches, and use our technical and forensic expertise state and federal resources to locate the person or persons who have committed the crime and locate Jayme, "Fitzgerald said in a statement. [1

96592002] The authorities told CBS News that Jayme was at home when her parents – 46-year-old Denise and 56-year-old James Closs – were killed. Investigators said the front door had been shot down. Jayme was expelled on the first day as a suspect, and the investigators believe that she is in danger.

On Friday, the investigators published a protocol of the emergency call, which was not heard except for the screaming in the background. The 911 call indicates that Jayme was home when it was made. The protocol indicated that the emergency call came from Jayme's mother.

Fitzgerald said earlier this week that investigators still "expect 100 percent to live."

Jayme has been placed at the head of the FBI's list, reports CBS Minnesota.

"It only breaks one's heart that it's so close to the house, because Barron is a small town, it's quiet," said a neighbor CBS Minnesota.
