The JetBlue 573 flight was scheduled to depart at 7:20 am, but returned to the gate and all 150 passengers were requested to remove the aircraft after receiving the photo.
Nikki Morris, one of the passengers on board, made a Facebook live video recording the experience. As she got off the plane, she noticed that all the luggage was off the plane and on the ground.
8 On Your Side also turned to the aunt of a 57-year-old passenger from Flight 573. Sharon Rosa said her niece had told her that she had boarded the plane at 5:45, but was asked to leave the plane only 20 minutes later. Rosa said to her on her side that her niece and the other passengers did not receive any information except that the plane had technical difficulties.
The flight departs at 11:27, just over 5 hours late, and arrives at Tampa International Airport at around 14:01.
