Fultz drove 20 seconds toward the basket when he accidentally nudged Embiid. The 7-footer immediately fell to the ground. He lay on the ground for a few minutes and was eventually assisted by the coach of the 76ers. Embiid sat up once before he was back in the field. Finally, he was helped by the court.
Shots of Embiid walking into the tunnel were not much relief when he toppled over and grabbed his head just a few feet away from the curtain.
Embiid, 24, enjoys his best season with the 76ers in year 4 after the first two were washed because of a sustained foot injury. He scores an average of 23 points and 1
