MSNBC presenter Joy Reid once blamed a notorious, conspiratorial 9/11 film that called the terrorist attacks an insider job, according to a March 2006 report on their now-defunct blog, ReidBlog, "Loose Change." 80-minute film, produced in part by Alex Jones of Infowars, Buzzfeed News reported.
"Loose Change" is considered a seminal work among the 9/11 Truthern, who believe the US government has a role in the attacks. Their central claims have long been exposed.
"The basic question is: do you believe the official story of 9/11?" According to Reid's post.
"If you, big, if you do not do that, everything that happens after that will be put into serious questions, even if you are agnostic or believe that al Qaeda has attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and that the government had no warning that such a thing could happen, it's worth taking a second look at it. Reid and MSNBC
Reid came under fire late last year when old blog entries showed that she made a series of insensitive LBGT remarks.
She then ridiculed Florida governor Charlie Crist as "Miss Charlie" and attacked Fox Annekulant Ann Coulter with transgender stereotypes
Reid first said she had been hacked, but later apologized.
The moderator of MSNBC's "AM Joy" has been under increasing scrutiny since Tuesday, when ABC Roseanne abruptly canceled Barr's hit sitcom after making a series of racist, anti-Semitic tweets.
