Justin Theroux spends time with his old Parks and Recreation Costar Aubrey Plaza.
The duo, which appeared together in four episodes of the NBC comedy series in 2010, was photographed in New York City and held by the actor's home.
"They met to discuss a possible film project," a source tells PEOPLE.
The Tropic Thunder writer, 46, guest played on Parks and Recreation as Justin Anderson, the love interest of Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler. Plaza appeared in all seven seasons of the popular sitcom as fan favorite April Ludgate. Both are also accomplished comedy poets.
Theroux is sticking to his normal routine since announcing his breakup with Jennifer Aniston last month, a source he had previously told PEOPLE
"He's just doing his thing," one said Source. "He eats at the same time, goes to the same places, is related to the same people."
At the weekend, Plaza, 33, met with some of her other co-stars from the show for the March For Our Lives protest in Washington DC on Saturday. The actress posed for a photo alongside Parks and Recreation Alahs such as Natalie Morales, Paul Rudd, Adam Scott and Billy Eichner.
Meanwhile, Theroux has "moved on with his life in NYC," since his separation from Aniston, a source recently told humans. At the beginning of March he was in Paris at Fashion Week, where he participated in the Louis Vuitton Womenswear Show and for a while reenacted a rose ceremony with his longtime friend Carlos Quirarte.
Before he went to Paris, he was discovered in Austin, Texas, where he visited a doghouse – and posted a delightful photo on Instagram.

On February 15, Aniston and Theroux announced they had separated after two and a half years of marriage and seven years in twos.
"In order to avoid further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation," said the former couple in a joint statement. "This decision was made together and lovingly at the end of last year, we are two best friends who have decided to separate as a couple, but we look forward to continuing our cherished friendship."
As far as Plaa's love life is concerned Actress most recently associated with Jeff Baena, who directed her in 2017 The Little Hours, in which she played a 14th-century nun alongside Alison Brie. Baena and Plaza first worked on his 2014 zombie comedy Living in Beth.
