"Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco did not want to wait to answer critics who said she would not stand when Carol Burnett received the very first Carol Burnett Award at the 2019 Golden Globes. The 33-year-old went to her Instagram stories early Monday to call social media users for spreading false rumors.
"There is one thing I wanted to address that I do not usually do," Cuoco began. "I've seen a lot of people write that I did not get up during Carol Burnet's speech, are you crazy, I just did not stand up – I screamed."
Cuoco went on to explain to 85-year-old Burnett that the legendary "Carol Burnett Show" is one of their "comedic idols."

"She is one of the most iconic … [she] paved the way for me as an actress and comedian" added Cuoco.
Cuoco vowed that she certainly stood up and applauded that Burnett's powerful speech, which she found touching, would never be forgotten. Cuoco said fans who believe she did not stand for Burnette said, "saw the wrong clip."
"Are you crazy? I not only stood ̵1; I scolded."
"[It was] a speech that I will never forget and tell my own children that I was in the room that day," she said. "I stood and I will always stand up for her."
An emotional Burnett entered the stage on Sunday night, admitting that she was "crazy" to take home a golden statue celebrating her lifetime achievement on television. Burnett said she was "very proud" that her successful television program from the '60s and' 70s is still appealing to people today.
"Sometimes I expect to be young again and do everything," said Burnett, adding that she was "incredibly lucky" to be in the industry at the right time. "[Because] What we did then
