According to media reports, Kanye West has "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Encountered. through one of the host's questions about his support of President Donald Trump.
Kimmel asked the rapper if he thought Trump was worried about black people or indeed "any people at all" during his Thursday night show.
West seemed to take a long break and let Kimmel take a commercial break.
West took to Twitter on Saturday to say he was not at a loss, "he had no chance to answer the question."
West continued, "The question was so important that I took time to think", but the rapper also praised the "civilian" dialogue between him and the host.
It looks like there are no hard feelings between West and the talk show host as the rapper ended the stream of tweets, saying, "I appreciate Jimmy and his team .You are Jedis [sic]. "
Much of the interview broadcast on ABC focused on West's views on the President, of whom he was a sheer backer in the past.
When asked about Trump's ability as President, the rapper took up the concept of love and said, "It took me a year and a half to have the confidence to stand up and put on my hat no matter what the consequences were." [1
West was hospitalized for exhaustion in November 2016, days after he said he would have chosen Trump if he had voted on an exhibition in San Jose, California. This announcement was answered with boos and a few gossip from the audience.
He also landed in hot water this May when he said slavery "sounds like a choice". This prompted TMZ presenter Van Lathan to say he was "incredibly hurt because you turned yourself into something that's not real to me."
West said in a song that he told his wife Kim Kardashian West that she could leave him after the comments of slavery, but that she decided not to.
In response to a question on Thursday, he suggested that he design the uniforms for Trump's newly announced Space Force ("I'm Designing"). He also told Kimmel that Trump is "a player" when asked if he was ever worried that his wife was alone with Trump in the Oval Office while he was released from prison about the release of Alice Marie Johnson earlier this year spoke.
