Manchester United are facing a race to bring business across the line before the next month’s transfer deadline.
The Red Devils have less than two weeks to do business with clubs across Europe as they continue to struggle in the transfer market.
Only Donny van de Beek was added to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad – arguably in an area of the pitch that had the least addition.
While Jadon Sancho’s transfer saga has grown quiet, it is believed that he remains the club’s primary target for the final week of the transfer window. However, attention may need to be redirected soon with minimal progress being made on a deal and Sancho seemingly happy with life at Borussia Dortmund.

Here are the latest transfer rumors from Old Trafford.
United favorites land Perisic
United are reportedly favorites for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic before the end of the transfer window.
The 31-year-old impressed last season at Bayern Munich and is open to a new challenge this season.
According to Football Transfers, Old Trafford is the Croatian international’s most likely target despite the reported interest from other top European clubs.
While Perisic may not be United’s number one transfer target, his arrival at the club in attacking areas could provide a healthy depth.
Manchester United want to plan their way back to the top. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already brought in Donny van de Beek but Jadon Sancho remains Manchester United’s number one target.

Rodriguez ‘admired’ United before choosing Everton
James Rodriguez, who signed New Everton, has shown how he almost moved to Old Trafford earlier in that transfer window.
The Colombian international has hit the ground under Carlo Ancelotti but it could have been very different for the playmaker, as he told Rio Ferdinand’s podcast FIVE earlier this summer.
Rodriguez said, “I think they were talking there.
“My manager, Jorge Mendes, has a great relationship with the club.
“We always dreamed of coming to a big club and I’ve always admired Manchester United since I was a kid.
“I’ve always seen these teams with Rio Ferdinand along with Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes.
“There were a lot of great players and I wanted to go in there this year, but it didn’t happen.
“I thought I had to play for a club that isn’t that big.”
Telles are set to leave Porto amid United’s interest
Transfer target Alex Telles reportedly wants to leave the current club Porto out of United’s interest.
That’s according to the Daily Telegraph, which claims the left-back told the club he wants to leave.
It has previously been reported that United has struck a £ 36.6m release clause with the 27-year-old.
The fact that he will be free for potential applicants from January means that United’s hierarchy could play tough with Porto’s representatives.
