Kim Kardashian West opens up as she and husband Kanye West have committed themselves to their third child in the name of Chicago.
The Star of the Kardashian's Group Interviewed Ellen DeGeneres She shared how they named their baby after Windy City to honor Kanye's hometown.
"This is a place that made him, and a place where he reminds his family," Kardashian said.
However, Chicago was not the only name the couple ever seriously considered. According to the reality star, Kanye was keen to name his baby after his deceased dam Donda West, who died in 2007 due to cosmetic surgery complications.
"He really wanted his mother's name, and I love that name too, but I was not sure," Kim said. "There is so much to do."
West was very open about how important his mother was in his life and how devastating her early death was on his life. Ultimately, the name Chicago served as a tribute to the roots of the rapper in the famous city.
"I [Chicago] just found Chicago cool and different," she added.
Kim said that she and Kanye's other adorable children ̵
"She's better than her with Santa," Kardashian explained. "[But] Yesterday there was a shocking moment, it literally had a can of popcorn and it was like," Saint, do you want some? While Kim and Kourtney were in the room when their daughter entered the world, it turned out that Kanye was busy with a board game.
"We had a connecting room, and Kanye was there playing Connect Four with his friends and not really paying attention," Kim laughed. Ellen later asked if Kanye had stopped playing the game at some point, Kim simply said it was "his favorite game, he's the best."
