Jurgen Klopp tries to focus on the title race of the Premier League, but expects a "wonderful game" as Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho return with Anfield Barcelona.
Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk were on the standings as the 4-1 victory on Wednesday in Porto in the Champions League for a final time between the leaders of the Premier League won and the top of LaLiga.
Suarez and Coutinho both of whom enjoyed brilliant jumps in Liverpool return to Anfield in the second leg, which will be played on May 7.
It is expected that both former Reds will come over both legs, and Klopp was asked at the press conference after the game if he could contact two former players.
"Honestly, the only thing I'm thinking about is Cardiff on Sunday," Klopp said.
"It's special for these two guys because they're Liverpool legends.
"But I do not think it will be a friendly match. We have to fight and work, and they will do that too.
"It's a wonderful game, Liverpool vs. Barcelona in the semifinals. Now we want to try to do the best and we will see what happens.
When Klopp faced Messi, he added, "Thank God I do not have to think about it tonight. I have a few nights.
"No one has made it so far, but we'll try. Before that we have a few more jobs. "
