The Los Angeles Department of Public Health is currently reviewing two LA County residents who have recently traveled and are suffering from measles on their return.
Officials are now working to identify other residents who may be in contact with these individuals.  Health officials said the potential occupational exposure to masseuse had occurred in the following locations:  The Geffen Playhouse, 10886 Le Conte Avenue, June 7, 8 pm to 11 pm
There is currently no known risk at these locations.
Those who were at these sites at that time may be at risk of measles for up to 21 days after exposure.  If you were in one of these locations at the time, it is important that you review your vaccine and medical records if you are unsure about your vaccination status.
Contact a doctor if you may have been exposed, or if you are pregnant, have a baby, or have a weakened immune system.
Officials urge residents, especially those who travel, to have themselves and others vaccinated against measles. 20159 There were 10 measles cases among residents of LA County and 8 non-LA County cases.
