The five cases are the first in the county of 2019.
Health officials also warn of places where measles have been discussed and which may have led to an exposure at that time.
The sites listed below are no longer at risk for the spread of measles at this time. However, anyone who visits these locations at the indicated times should be up to date and contact their doctor if symptoms occur:
– UCLA, Franz Hall, April 2 and 9; and Boelter Hall on the 2nd and 9th of April from 10am to 6pm.
– El Pollo Loco, 1939 Verdugo Road, La Canada Flintridge, April 11, 2pm. until 4:30 pm
– El Sauz Tacos, 4432 San Fernando Road, Glendale, April 13, 1:30 pm to 4 pm
"There are likely to be more measles cases in Los Angeles County, so it's important "That you or someone you know has had measles symptoms or had measles to contact your doctor directly before you seek treatment," said Los Angeles County Health Officer. Muntu Davis.
