While Odell Beckham once again warms up the end of his career in New York, Landon Collins, another former Big Blue player, will not even pronounce the name of the Giants.
In a recent interview with the 106.7 The Fan, Collins debated his Madden 20 rating – as complaining about it seems to be in fashion in 2019 – which depended heavily on his play with his former team. During the conversation, Collins characterized the Giants as "the other team I was in".
The omission of the club name has not gone unnoticed by host Chris Lingebach.
"You did not say her name," he pointed out. "Was that intended?"
"It's pointless," Collins said. "It's useless to call her name."
Petty? Maybe Collins did not seem ready to receive from the Giants because he got a big deal from Washington. Smirking fun? For an outsider certainly.
If Collins continues to refuse to name the Giants team, the already divisional divisional rivalry that should have existed between the failures of safety, the selection of rookie quarterback players, and the years of history will be further upset Field for both teams is 2019 not otherworldly.
