Samsung’s entire rumored range of devices for today’s unpacked event was spoiled by a series of videos by Leaker Evan Blass. Most interesting is the handy footage from Samsung’s unannounced foldable Galaxy Z Fold 2 (most of the previous leaks were only rendered in the press), but the videos also include footage of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the Galaxy Tab S7 tablet, and the Galaxy Bud true wireless earphones and the Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch.
The sheer amount of leaks that preceded today’s event means that we already had a good idea of what to expect from the five devices, but in some cases, this is the first time that we have them outside of perfectly composed print renders see. For the Galaxy Z Fold 2, this means seeing how the two displays look with their punch notches, as well as the outer display, which appears significantly larger than that of the original fold.
Blass also announced today that the foldable hinge will be available in a variety of colors, including silver, gold, red and blue.
One of the videos also shows us an overview of the main functions of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, many of which have already been rumored. This includes using the phone to play a game through xCloud using an external controller (details of this functionality were first released last month), and using DeX to wirelessly stream the desktop computer interface to a Samsung TV so that the screen of the The phone can be used as a trackpad.
Finally, there is the Galaxy Buds Live, which is shown with the little rubber earplugs they are designed to hold securely in your ears, the Tab S7 tablet, and the Galaxy Watch 3.
