Samsung will host the next unpacked event next month, which expects a "full-featured" version of the foldable phone, along with the upcoming Galaxy S10 Galaxy series. A new leaked image by Evan Blass shows three versions of the phone, the S10E, the S10 and the S10 +.
Since last fall there are rumors that the S10 would come in three variants: the S10 and the S10 + with a curved OLED screen, a hole-punch selfie camera and in-display fingerprint scanner, and a third (probably the S10E), which serves as a cheaper edition without all the bells and whistles. The company is also said to have discussed with Verizon to bring a 5G version of the phone to the US. A Blass leak in early January showed the front of the S1
Blass points out that the Galaxy S10 lineup is clearly visible in this image, with the S10E on the left, the S10 in the middle, and the S10 + on the right. The S10E has two cameras on the back, while the other two have three. The S10 + also seems to have a pair of front cameras with a larger punch.
This year's rally is resting a bit, especially as the company faced slower sales for the S9 in the last quarter of 2018 and a sharp decline in profits. With this year's phone changes following the "predictable" iteration of last year, perhaps Samsung 2019 will be able to lure consumers back.
