A disappointing first season with the Los Angeles Lakers seems to have led LeBron James to a new level of frustration.
By ESPN.com Dave McMenamin, James gave a revealing answer when asked about the Lakers Front Office, which built a number of players instead of shooters:
"The Experiment? "James said of the first season lineup in LA
." James stared at the square for a moment, returning his attention to the conversation, pursing his lips and sticking his tongue out out trumpet air out of his mouth, made a raspberry sound. "
In fairness to James, questions remained about the players around him throughout the off-season, and the Lakers signed the four-time NBA MVP by making a series of one-year offers to Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson, Kentavious- Caldwell Pope and JaVale McGee.
CBS Sports & # 39; made with their squad:
"The Lakers could definitely use a sniper on the wing and a stretch-four. If you do not add anyone who fits one of these descriptions, they are looking for internal improvement. Kyle Kuzma could increase his 36.6% point by 3 percentage points when he receives passes from James, Rondo and an improved ball. As weird as Ball looks, he could be more consistent in his second season with his long jumper. "
Kuzma never found his three-point shot this season, currently holding 30.4 percent, but Ball, who has been out of action since January 1
The Lakers Rank 29th in three-point percentage (33.0), just ahead of the Phoenix Suns (32.7). Ironically, they are the 24th with the Cleveland Cavaliers in Offensive Efficiency (105.0).
James and the Lakers will receive early planning for 2019-20 when their season ends on April 9 against the Portland Trail Blazers.
