Beebo may have made the last sacrifice – somehow – in Season 3 of 19459012 will not be the final act for the fan favorite character , Beebo Returns in Season Four
During today's San Diego Comic-Con panel, showrunner Phil Klemmer confirmed to the audience that the lovable, fluffy, fictitious children's toy will return to the series.
For fans of Beebo, this is fantastic news and is a small pre-SDCC tease made possible by the show's writing room. Yesterday, the Legends writers launched their own official Instagram account and populated it with funny photos of someone dressed in a Beebo costume en route to SDCC. The photos contained Beebo at the wheel of a cabriolet, stopped for donuts, caught a few waves and even hit an In-N-Out ride ̵
Of course, this teasing goes on to another reveal during the blackboard. During the podium, a life-sized Beebo went on stage and hugged the performers, only to show that actor Adam Tsekhman, who plays Time Bureau agent Gary in the series, stood behind the life-sized favorite.
For those who wonder what's up with the blue creature, here's a short primer. "Beebo" is a wild children's toy from the 1990s, which the young Martin Stein developed with great dedication for his daughter Lily. Unfortunately, Martin and Beebo end up in the Viking Age with the fluffy, talking toy that is worshiped by the Vikings. The Legends team has to deal with the anachronism – and thus preserve Christmas before the transformation into Beebo Day – but the adorable toy quickly became a fan favorite, spawning Meme and Fan Art.
Beebo later appeared briefly on The Flash and flowed heavily into the Legends season finale, in which the team conjured up a massive Beebo with the power of all six Zambesi totems Villain Mallus literally literally cuddled to death. While it's unclear whether Beebo will be released in season four, the character has become a mascot for the series's writers. And after the adventures they share on Instagram – at the time also surfing and donuts – they plan to have as much fun as possible with Beebo.
As for the fourth season of the series, what is it? It is known that the heroes have to face the fallout of their Beebo-conditioned defeat of Mallus. As the fans will remember, season 3 of Legends ended with Gary and John Constantine (Matt Ryan) approaching the team with a series of new magical threats. A synopsis already teased that Legends and Constantine travel through history to hunt "Fugitives," a name given to magical creatures of myths, legends, and fairytales.
"[Season 3 Big Bad Mallus] is a sort of bellwether of bad guys coming in season 4," Klemmer said in an earlier interview. "Up to this point, we're dealing with earthly and historical villains, and we've certainly had fun with all of this, but this year we've interfered with the world of the occult through Damien Darhk and his endeavors.
" But You know that Constantine will be coming to the show [as a regular] next season, so let's go deeper, we want Mallus to be used as "the tip of the iceberg." Klemmer continued, "He's not human, and we want start playing with the idea that the earth does not always belong to our species.
