LIRR: The power problem should not affect morning commuting



Power lines that fell on the rail tracks of Long Island Rail Road at Hicksville stopped in the evening during the evening on three branches. Two of the branches remained locked for a few hours as crews struggled to remove the line and repair track damage, officials said.

Eighty power pylons were replaced in 2018 and another 108 were renewed under the 2019 railway line.
