Joey Logano unofficially won his first Busch Pole Award of the 2019 season after scoring the fastest speed on Saturday in the final qualifying round at Martinsville Speedway. Logano has now earned five of the last eight Martinsville sticks in races in which the weather has not forced a cancellation.
Loganos Team Penske Ford No. 22 will share the first series with Stewart-Haas Racing Ford No. 10 by Aric Almirola. Brad Keselowski finished third in Team Penske Ford # 2, Kevin Harvick will be starting fourth on Sunday in 4th SHR Ford. Denny Hamlin, who completed the first two qualifying laps, will start fifth on Sunday in the 500-lap event.

The time of Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was rejected in one of his rounds in the first round after his No. 17 on the pit road was driven too fast. Daniel Suarez was also booked in the final round because of speeding and punished. NASCAR announced on March 13 that the speed of the pit lane should be enforced in qualifying.
The Monster Energy Series returns to the track on Sunday for the STP 500 (14:00 ET, FS1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
