The Los Angeles Dodgers announced plans for $ 100 million worth of renovations on Tuesday, which will be held during the off-season.
The team unveiled a full range of upgrades, including a new 2-acre center-field plaza dedicated to pre- and post-game entertainment, as well as an open play area for children.
On the plaza there will be a statue of Sandy Koufax, who is already attached to a statue by Jackie Robinson on the property.
The upgrade round will also feature a new series of elevators and bridges connecting various parts of the stadium.
"I do not know any element that does not excite me because we've been thinking about it for over a year," said Dodgers President Stan Kasten. "I think the ability to have so many different things in one room will not work for every fan, so we have 10 different things that should appeal to all our fans."
