Louisville City FC will host the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer in the fourth game on June 6. Round of the US Open Cup
The announcement came a day after Louisville City FC beat USL Team Saint Louis FC 1 -0 in the third round of the competition, the teams from the country's three sanctioned professional leagues Wednesday was played at Lynn Stadium on the University of Louisville campus.
The time and place to match New England is yet to be determined.
The Revolution Feature Andrew Farrell, a graduate of Atherton High School and a former University of Louisville player who was voted No.1 by New England in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft.  The game marks the second time that Louisville City FC has competed against an MLS team. In extra time, they lost 1-0 to Chicago Fire in 2015. It will be the first time that they are hosting an MLS team in the US Open Cup.
Tickets, streaming and other game-related information will be released in the future date.
