Just two days before Christmas, Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin made a confession on Twitter apologizing for a rash of seasonal robberies.
"I have a guilty conscience with all the burglars who never had the faith" I robbed a house for Christmas, thank you, "Culkin tweeted on Sunday afternoon regarding his 1990 Christmas movie featuring his character a pair of grubby thieves outwitted.
The tweet received over 461,000 likes and more than 100,000 retweets on Christmas Eve.

. The reference to Culkin's iconic role as Kevin McCallister was only the second in the last few days, after the actor had doubled the role in an advertisement for Google Assistant. In the announcement published on Wednesday, the 38-year-old Culkin came back as a funny eight-year-old in his character. With the help of Google Assistant, the actor helped modernize many of the scenes from the film.

] Culkin awakened iconic scenes from the movie, shaved his face, jumped on the bed and festooned the Christmas tree while he asked the wizard to put memories to him. When his character was delivered a pizza, the Google Assistant helped him tell the worker, "Keep the change, you filthy beast."
