Mad Men Creator Matthew Weiner's return to television has released his first teaser trailer – just list your expectations as it's mostly about a long list of the show's talents.
Titled The Romanoffs The project is an anthology series, "which takes place around the globe and tells eight different stories about people who consider themselves descendants of the Russian royal family." The Romanoffs were filmed on location in three continents and seven countries
On Saturday, Amazon unveiled the teaser, revealing a number of guest stars such as: Noah Wyle ( Falling Skies ), Kathryn Hahn Transparent ), Jay R. Ferguson ( Mad Men ), Ben Miles ( Collateral ), Griffin Dunne ( Imposters ), Cara Buono ( Mad Men ), Ron Livingston ( The Conjuring ) and more.
They are previously linked to Nced performers such as Aaron Eckhart ( Sully ), Diane Lane ( Untreu ), Christina Hendricks ( Mad Men ) and John Slattery ( Mad Men ).
The series is scheduled to premiere on October 1
Amazon also announced three more projects:
– A new half-hour sci-fi romantic satire called Upload from author Greg Daniels ( The Office ) and his production partner Howard Klein with Andy Allo ( Pitch Perfect 3 ) and Robbie Amell ( File X ).  – A horror event titled Them by executive producer Lena Waithe ( The Chi ), screenwriter and executive producer Little Marvin and executive producers Roy Lee, Miri Yoon and Michael Connelly. The event series has received a two-year order, the first being for Them: Covenant . The Place: "In 1953, Alfred and Lucky Emory decided to relocate their North Carolina family to a very white district of Los Angeles, the family home on a tree-lined, seemingly idyllic street, becoming the zero point where malevolent forces, both real and supernatural, taunting, devastating and destroying them. "
– The Company Expatriates by Nicole Kidman Blossom Films, based on the bestselling novel by Janice YK Lee and screenwriter Alice Bell ( The Beautiful Lie ).
